Been an artist of various types pretty much all my life: pencils - paint - watercolors, mosaics of beach glass, writing 'stories', musician (first love), photography, software design. Started messing with Bryce & Photoshop a few of years ago and have gotten more involved with various 3D apps recently (Lightwave, Cinema 4d, Vue, etc). But my pictures, both rendered and captured, pretty much tell who I am. My bunny, Brenda aka JustAlice here, and I live in a little house out in the countryside of Indiana.

No idea what a flower this is, but it looks fantastic. Superb shot!

Wonderful shot.

That's funny. I've heard it called the Closet Plant because it doesn't need light and reportably could live in a closet. :-) I don't know the real name either. Makes little difference...this is gorgeous and a tremendous macro.

excellent close-up, very beautiful flower.

Its been left by the body snatchers. Each of those little pods has a human body growing in it, don't go to sleep close to it! (But nice shot)

The Aspidistra was nicked -named the 'cast-iron plant' by the Victorians. The leaves in the background are difficult to see, but they look Aspidistra-like. However, I have several and I have had them for many years and they flower at the base with very insignificant blooms. I have another lily-like plant that flowers like this, but I don't know the name unfortunately.

Thank You! I think I knew this at one time (decades ago when I cared for office plants for a living), but I couldn't think of it to save my . . . self. :^)

Is this not a Peace Lily? Certainly looks like one to me, but then I'm not a flower person so could be wrong. Whatever the name its a great macro shot, great detail on the stem. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

This must have been the inspiration for Mr. T.Eddison's first light globe. It certainly lights up the galleries here at Rendo. Bright capture, Ken ! BB p.s. thank you for commenting on my 'Spider Lily'. (Amaryllidaceae)

A great shot of a pretty plant. A vigorous plant that make me smile a bit too ;)
