Description

This is for Michael Mapplebeck or best known to his friends as (mapps) and yes it was a lot of fun to make this. Mike and Richard (Richard Gorden) have combined to create some of the most amazing and realistic structures I've ever seen. With Mike's amazing skill at modeling he can literally bring any vision to life that comes into his head. Having a top photographer like Richard to add his touch to the texturing for his creations makes them a unbeatable team. I wanted to do this for Mike not for the many nice things he has done for me to which I am very grateful, but instead for his friendship that really helped me stay strong while I was worried about my sister Veronica. Mike had a family member who had went through almost the same horrible problem and his words of comfort to me really meant more than he'll ever know. Thanks Mike :) So here we are, this is my vision of Mike as a boy. Mike & Richard's Reely Cool Aztec Templ: I can imagine Mike growing board with the playhouse his parents got for him and with the help of his friend Richard, they convert it into his first Temple. In my mind I picture a little girl showing up and poor little Penny, I guess her and Mittens the cat don't get to experience Mike & Richards really cool new Aztec Temple after all. In all honesty their attempt to get in was doomed from the start as Mike included all sorts of awesome traps to keep out trespassers. Like that nearly impossible leap from board to board. (surely no girl in a dress could make this jump Mike thought as he laid it out). Besides even if they did make it across his fierce Guard Puppy Vince was perched there waiting. Or maybe what scared little Penny off was seeing even if by some miracle she did make it that far she would still have to try and cross the pit of despair. Where on each side laying in wait in case you fall are man eating piranha !!! (okay, so there really fish from Mike's parents fish tank but no one else has to know) . Still poor Penny is going to miss out as I see Mike has been hard at work stocking their Aztec temple with all sorts of amazing treasures. In case any of you are wondering that is Richard of Richardsphotos busy at work even back then texturing Mike's awesome props. After all how could I seperate such a great duo. Still Mike may want to talk to Richard about not spilling all the paint, that did come out of his allowance after all. Well I hope you enjoyed the tour of Mike and Richard's Really Cool Aztec Temple, that is those of you who are allowed in. But rules are rules I guess so who are we to question them. Thanks for reading and hope you get a smile, Dave Credits: Aztec Temple artifacts By mapps, Richardphotos Hay Bales By mapps, Richardphotos Fish By mapps, Richardphotos Monkey Skulls By mapps, Richardphotos Madison, Matt, Puppy, Kitty, By Daz Hansel & Gretal By Lourdes Mercado Matt Jeans By Mada Ants Pants By Mada Playhouse Set By Deerpath Pans By Davo Madelia Hair By Lisbeth Wedgecut 2.0 By 3D Universe Mihai Hair By Neftis Boards, Sign By Me Paint Can In Free Stuff

Hilarious stuff and really well done. And I fully agree with the boys. You don't want girls in your dens when you're that age. They're silly and they cry all the time. Though I wonder what the shed will be used for when the lads are a few years older...

This brought a huge smile to my face! Yeah, I know that dirt was new then, but I was a kid once too and this sure brought back memories of taking over Dad's tool shed as a "fort". Great job - again. Also, glad you did this for mapps, he's a great guy.

Замечательная работа! Очень искренняя, особенно нравится прием использования текста…буква R как Я. Совершенно нет времени писать комментарии. Это временное явление, связанное с моей работой.

Wonderful! I remember the forts when we were kids, the boys had theirs, the girls had theirs (which usually were kitchens to make mud pies, lol) and neither were allowed in the others fort! This is very fun, great rendering, the moats are just wonderfully creative. Bravo on another so well done work Dave!
