Description

While I was toying around with creating a particular style of wind-swept tree in the Bryce Tree Lab, I had to come up with a terrain and render in which to use it. The terrain is a combination of two identical terrains with one being slightly smaller, rotated and tilted a bit. The view is akin to the areas one would find along the rocky slopes near the ocean where the winds would actually shape the growth of the foliage. Enjoy and thanks for viewing and commenting. What a beautiful mood and lighting in this scene where the terrain texture is very nice, especially to the left of the tree. A great composition as always, Keith ! Bravo!

This is beautiful as is, Keith. But for the 'non' critical' I see the tree taller up against the sky. Beautiful render.

Copying an blending the two terrains is something I played with a bit, but not to any meaningful extent, more along the lines of 'let's see what happens.' But you plan the terrains and know exactly what you want and make it work for the scene in mind. Good work!

You certainly nailed the wind effect perfectly left behind after may years of sculpting the environment. Very nice details on the materials too Keith. Muis
