Description

Thanks to Dinoraul's fine Olorotitan figure, this realization was a lot less work than it could have been. For a long while now I've been wanting to see my favorite Lambeosaur, the Parasaurolophus. Since the dinos are so close in every way besides a head crest and maybe maximum size growth, the Olorotitan just received a morph to the horn and a new texture that took maybe 2 days to get where it is now. The renders didn't take too long, most of the final image was spent on the water. There is always someone that claims that the water should ripple more. But this subtle ripple is because he is standing still for a while, his body is sharp, no motion blur, he is listening while having finished most of his water gulp. Most of the vigorous splash I had, I removed, while the rippling now still consists of 6 or 7 layers. The background photo was purchased at istockphoto, it is in New Zealand. Enjoy!!

You little liar, You say you spent all this time on this render and make us believe you used photoshop etc to finish it off, when we know it is really a photo and you used your time machine to go back and get this picture. I don't know, the lengths some people will go to. :0) No seriously super render and great postwork. Ya cheeky blighter.

This is gorgeous! If I hadn't already picked up this dino I'd be rushing to the marketplace to buy him because of your beautiful work. The subtle water postwork is very nicely done. The drips from his mouth are quite believable.
