Description

I think mermaids and mythology in general are pretty cool. Anyways I thought it would be pretty cool to see a realistic picture of how a mermaid might of looked assuming they really existed. I was pretty happy with the way this one turned out. Regarding the skin tone which I was pretty happy with what I ended up doing was using a light desaturated green for the highlights, blues for the midtones and a dark saturated purple for the shadows then dampening the details with pure black, it ended up working out pretty well and gave that fishy, translucent effect I was going for. Anyways enjoy =).
