Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
Well today was the first full sunny day we have had in several weeks. Many bad storms in my area lately but I managed to get very little wind, rain, or hail. I did get lots of clouds, drizzle, and more clouds.
As a result of the sunny day today, I chased a few Dragonflies until I managed to get this shot. I have been seeing Dragonflies for a week or so. This is my first capture of one this year.It took about 30 minutes, lol.

No dragonflies here now but we have bees and flies. I love the coffee and cream stripes on this one. Excellent macro.

Strange colouring Lee, looks like a banana split, I love those gosammer wings. The Dragonfly to me seams an hardy sort of insect, the large head and the hard bullet like body, and then they sport those fragile wings. Wings that you would expect to break in the slightest breeze. They truly are amazing little criters. Excellent capture Lee, always nice to see you post. Bravo!!!!!
