Description

I've reworked a few of my old Blender pieces in Photoshop -- something I've wanted to do for a long time, but haven't quite gotten around to! For one thing, when I originally did them I didn't know anything about postwork, and I've always thought they looked a little flat. For another thing, they're pieces I really like that most of my photog friends haven't seen, and I'm just feeling like a bit of a show-off! LOL! I originally posted this one with a nudity advisory, but later got a ruling from the PTB that statues don't count. If you'd like to see the original, you can click here. It's the same exact image, just with a bit of postwork. Einzie1 did the statues for me in Poser. I painted the backdrop in Dogwaffle (you can see the painting here. (Dogwaffle is a free, downloadable painting program.) I'll be posting a few more over the next week or so, as the spirit moves me.

your talents are soooo diverse my friend... i'm impressed! only suggestion i might make would be to darken the shadows, especially those of the near columns and bench... looks great tho - love the sky especially! encore...! michael

...there is something quite intriguing about this scene -- (much more appealing than the original ) -- the only fly in the ointment 'might' be that the pillars and table seem to be riding above the marbled floor ( esp on the left hand columns ) --- - and yet - there is a strong dream-like quality to this piece that I quite love 'as is' ----- really fascinating work !!

I did not know you do render stuff! And pretty good with it. Like a greek mood and a blueish mountain. Keep going I like to see more.

Remarkable composition! Absolutely flawless, my friend. The colours and the architecture are stunning; seems like the most fascinating place just to stand from afar and admire. Excellent perspective, as well. I think that if the word eternal had a face, this would be, by far the best depiction. Stunning work Tara!
