Description

morning all :o) another from south lakes ,of course this is an emu :o)..there is a kids programme on tele about an emu and has a head crunching theme tune ,ashleigh sings it to me all the time lol .. went to this other house that was offered yesterday afternoon and as luck would have it the workers were there doing a few repairs .i knew one of them so we had a look around .nice and clean with little or decorating to do .trouble is now do we accept or do we hang on for a straight forward move .if we accept this one we could be in this as little as 6 weeks or as long as 18 months before we move into a newly built house or we could hang on and wait and stay with the council and see if we can get a modernised house .i tell you my heads in bits cos then of of corse we have to dismantle 30 years into boxes probably twice if we go for a new house . have a great sunday and thanks for looking ,i`ll catch everyone today as last night i could`nt think straight enough to make sensible comments lol :o) mick

Great capture! I think emus are as fascinating as they are amusing to watch. Sorry about your housing dilemma. Here is what I would do, if it were me. I'd rent a storage unit (do you have any of those in the UK?) and store all of my stuff in it. Then move into the little place, and when a nice, new place comes up, then all you gotta do is move the stuff out of storage. We did that when we moved here, only we didn't move twice, but cleared out enough stuff to show our house for sale with everything looking cleaner and neater. Then after moving to our new house got the stuff out of the storage unit.

Mick, now that I have caught up a bit on your move, I think this photo explains your feelings and frustration! Well captured! Sorry I'm so late on the info, but I wasn't around here then...I'm a "newbie"...however, I wish you and your family all the best! smiles
