Description
This is the inside of a green pearl oyster. The outside of the oyster doesn't look like much, but when you open it up you see all the beautiful pearls inside. You never know what color pearls you will find inside until you open one. The pearls start as tiny microscopic seed in the very center and then grow larger as they spiral outward. Some can get quite large before they are harvested. This is where I obtain most of the pearls found in my fractals. Now you know. ;o)
