Description

Take one, old post-dawn shot of troubled sky above Glasgow, taken one stormy, Tuesday, winter morning heading south on foot. Load into Adobe Photoshop Elements 4. Apply, sparingly, FLAMING PEAR's plugin 'Flood', cutting off all but the clouds and the top of a tree. Finish with an overall blue tint from the same company's 'SuperBlade Pro' plugin, and suddenly a depressing winter morning becomes a serene, slightly romantic scene... well a scene anyway.. ;o) Enjoy this rare foray of mine into photography. I must have been so cold that morning that the shivering balanced out the usual camera shake ;o) Dedicated to all my viewers, but especially Nahla, so that she can understand that perspective and perception are both important in life. Thanks for viewing, and all your kind comments before and after. Regards, John.

I really love the image except for the annoying power lines - they ruin the serenity of the image. Otherwise well done!

Great mood indeed. The powerlines make some damage on the mood but anyway it's a great image. Inspiring.
