Thanks, I'm sure you would so would I. It would take me longer to write up the way I created the image then the rendering time, which by the way was about 7 hours on my Mac G4 dual 500. It was mostly modeled out of nurb cubes. Then I used SLA shaders to get that translucent look to the intestines and stomach. The tree texture was created in Photosop.

Wow, this is just excellent. I love the bubbles rising from the ichor as if the decay of the entrails is creating vile gasses. The modeling of the intestines is superb. Can't really find anything to criticize. Even your font choice shows good design. Nice job!

Outstand effort! One of the best renders I've seen in any program. I'm with sdaniels, write a book on how this was done and I'll buy it! And I'll actually give the 10 and it should be 20!!

Thanks people! I really didn't think it would go over that big. I'm happy to see people responding as well as this. I have to be honest it's not the modeling as much as the texturing that I like. I think it holds the image together and gives it that grotesque feel. The modeling anyone can do, that is if you know how to model. Texturing and lighting and camera technique make the difference between making something look real or not. Thanks again, Joseph -CyberHues, Inc.

Stunning, simply stunning!!! those realistic textures, the lighting and the horrible real objects are genius. You have a very very good sense to make the picture look like it has to look like. So I agree with the3dgm and giving you a second 10 to fullfill the twenty you should get!!! You are one of the 10% in this community to call himself an artist!!! How did it take to model and texture this one?

The modeling of all the objects took the longest at about 12 hours . The texturing, because I was trying to get a very translucent look to the entrails took about 6 hours, with rendering tests. All in all about 18 hours.
