Description

I waited a bit with showing this one to you, because my mother allways said to save the best for last, but well, in this ongoing exhibition called rendo there is no 'last' I guess ;-) It is the old town hall of Gouda, the place I live in since a short while. The place where I shot the image is the same place as the one on wich the witches were burned in medieval times. You can allmost feel the soil melt under your feet!!! But what a lovely mystical last view they had! Good day, Thom Thanks to the moderators for selecting 'the river yssel' for the LWitG of last week!

Excellent presentation. I think the light and the colors don't really go well with the story cause I don't get any sense of tragedy that happened here many moons ago. Nevertheless, the execution and the POV are excellent. Regards, Igor.

great foto, looks like gouda. Witches were burnt because they got people into theire power using potions and the like, just like the drugs dealers are doing now, maybe we should burn them again. ;)

WOW! this looks more like a church or cathedral then a town hall! I think you've picked the right town to live in, I think we are going to be seeing some wonderful things from your town! I just love the old architecture, so much more interesting then the newer things that have been built from about the 50s on. The buildings behind the town hall are beutiful!

Moooi he... TisFraai
