What's New with The Art Of Carol Cavalaris
Galleries: I currently exhibit my work in several Colorado galleries, including juried shows at Art At The Center in Nederland, and Gilpin County Art Association in Central City. I also exhibit in several on-line art galleries. I also have on-going exhibits at various banks, community centers, libraries, restaurants, and also participate in local Art Fairs and Festivals. Art Licensing: I am a collectible artist with The Bradford Exchange, where my art is on a Dream Catcher Collection, as well as an exclusive figurine and sculpture collection. My art is also being licensed and is on a variety of products including: eSkins for laptops, iPads, iPhones, etc., puzzles that are being sold in Target, K-Mart, and other retail and web stores. Several of my pieces have been licensed by a company called The Mountain. They produce high-quality, environmentally-friendly T-shirts and other apparel, and have some of the finest wildlife and fantasy artists in the world on their team. your outlining of the salient features on the flowers is done with real sensitivity to the flow & texture of the flowers; your bringing out the texture in the upper portions of the petals makes them seem like stone or some kind of flaking sheet rock (very primal and yet very complex); the reds, from oranges to passionate crimsons, are modeled to look almost spray-painted on, a luminous effect; and you've dissolved some of the petals to make it look like a watercolor awash in blends & bleeds. It really is an abstract, but it's also a look into the inner spirit of the flowers themselves. Beautiful work, revealing yet more secrets of the infinite world of the flower.
