Description

Here's another ghost. This began with me downloading the trial version of Painter today. I am teaching myself how to paint with a tablet and I am already loving this program. So, here is my first collage. They fascinate me, as does surrealism, so, I will probably try to venture into those territories eventually. I also learned how to create brushes today, thus the vultures. A few minutes ago, this scene was much more gruesome, but I toned it down. It's amazing how visceral crimson roses can become after midnight. I used Daz studio to render the character, then painted and merged layer upon layer and painted for hours, then switched to Filter Forge and Paint Shop Pro. I used Pompadour hair by Neftis (found here on Rendorosity), the necklace is from Daz. I used V3, the morph is one I created. Thanks for your comments as always. It helps me gain confidence and keeps me working, taking risks, and learning. About an hour ago I was beginning to scare myself while doing this one, wondering where some of the more bizarre ideas (that I deleted) were coming from, so, it's good to have creative friends who comment and encourage me out here. : ) I'll catch up on your galleries tomorrow. I need sleep! Too many late nights in a row. Sweet dreams to all and happy rendering.

Good work!! I have a Wacom but prefer the draw on the screen laptop. She could be a portrait in Disney's Haunted Mansion!

Beautiful character and painting. I must give Painter a try as I can't seem to paint with PSPXI. Also HAVE to give my tablet some more practice time, lol.

Beautiful work. I know it takes time. I've been trying to get it together using a wacom tablet with Photoshop 7 and it can be difficult sometimes.
