Sorry for my lengthy absence
Many health issues kept me away from my art endeavors. It was discouraging really. But I need not squawk about that
My angels are now 16 & 17 years old. Time does fly!
I have 3 cats. My cat Kharma had 8 kittens in total in the last year. I have a pure black male cat, Salem. The kitten's name is Bear. A female, dark cocoa in color and very long hair. I had to keep her....She is just soooooooooooooooooooo awww!!!! CUTE!!
As for me...49 yr old....
that's mostly it... *giggles
Sorry, don't like to talk about me much
If anybody needs to know anything, feel free to ask, I have nothing to hide but I
am not a fan of putting it out there :))PEACE & LOVE to everyone

Whatever are you feeding that cat of yours on, Kathleen? ;o) Nice textures and contrast. I occasionally use Adobe Photoshop Elements 4, but tend to use Serif's PhotoPlus X2 or Corle Paintshop Pro X2 and my graphics tablet, for more intricate work. Your image, on second glance, does look a wee bit scary, I suppose, but not the sort of thing which I expect to see in Glasgow. There have been a few 'big black cat' stories in the West Highlands, and in the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland. Apparently people import them illegally, find that they cannot feed / care for / manage the 'puir bastes', and set them free in the wild, or not so wild. I thought, originally. that it was a 'country myth' but one wildlife liaison officer assured me that there are at least two big cats out there, but that they tend not to fare well with poisoned bait left out ( illegally ) for birds of prey, electrified fences, heavy vehicles on trunk roads, and, except for the managed deer and raindeer herds, little proper prey for them to take down.. We do have a few proper Scottish 'wildcats' out there but they are something altogether smaller and quite different from your purple eyed monster. Perhaps the police could tame the panthers and use them as drugs and gun sniffer dogs, screening the folk entering the city centre night clubs. Not many folk would argue with this panther, or any of its siblings... 'O) On a more serious note, I trust that you and your family are well, and still hoping for spring. So far, crocuses, some hyacinths, and a few of the dwarf daffodills are out. The trees look dead except for a few cherry trees. The grass has not started to grow yet, although I did spot a few dandelions yesterday. I did some weeding last week, with a fork and pickaxe! No early spring like last year. It is still too cold, most nights. Whimsical regards, from a cold Glasgow, John.

Reminded me of the erotic remake of the 1942 classic, Cat People starring Nastassja Kinski and Malcolm Mc Dowell, where a young woman's sexual awakening brings horror when she discovers her urges transform her into a monstrous black leopard – some great music from the film too, especially the build up with the track ‘Myth’. Keep up the great work - love it! "See these eyes so green, I can stare for a thousand years ....
