Description

Between the housing estates of Pentwyn and Llanrumney in Cardiff, is an area of protected flood plane, through which the Rhymney River flows. I have seen a wide variety of wildife there; lots of rabbits, several types of dragonfly, foxes, a kingfisher, a kestrel, and an amazing variety of butterflies. I took this photo last Summer, on a fine day after several days of rain.
