Description
Three of these Black Racers in my bushes today......now gotta say...I'm so afraid of snakes...I'm not too anything without armpits...I think they are beautiful but always kept my distance til today...I have an old Kodak....it doesn't have much of a zoom...today I really wished it did!...but I am so proud of myself.. I'm bout foot away...and I talked to him the whole time saying..."It's all good lil snake....stay calm...just snapping few pics"...HAHA!

Well done!! I'm not scared of them, but we only have one poisonous sort in UK. My best friend nearly has a heart attack if she spots my green hosepipe lurking in the grass!

The snake and the little red apple, a very old theme in a new jacket, lol. Good capture, you are on the right track, the snake is probably much more frightened of you.

I am not to keen on snakes and keep my distance.I will pick up garden snakes but if they make a sudden lunge, I drop them like a hot potato.you done and outstanding capture
