Description

This is the 3rd dog my friend owns, Fritz. He is a very bouncy, over active 2 year old. Getting him to sit still was a definate challenge. In the end I had to get one of his toys and hold it above my head, while balancing the Canon EOS 40 in the other. I felt like one of those kids photographers with the rubber duckies....lol

Yes hes still a kid being only 2 yo. But he is gorgeus. Getting him to sit is easy. The real challenge is to prevent him from leaving before the picture is shot.. thats my experience haha. I love the German Shepherd. Im on my 3rd German Shepherd too. She is longhaired and 5 yo. She can be seen on my Renderosity homepage.

Very alert results. You said it was difficult to get photos of these guys because they would not sit still and pose but you really have made it look as if it was a cake-walk. You have done a masterful job of producing these animal portraits.

Reminds me of when my son and I used to take photos of mine and others show dogs and puppies. I learnt to make an amazing sound from my mouth which always got the attention of the doggies LOL x Small squeaky toys are a must for the photographer too, and another trick is to throw something small up into the air to the side of the dog to capture a great shot of the eyes and head as he watches object go to the ground. This is an excellent shot of another handsome German Shepherd, very well done to you, hugs Jane xx
