Description
Portquin on the North Cornwall coast.
I have just joined the SWCPA who do a wonderful job of looking after the coastal footpath. You also get a great little guide which details all the walks you can do in this area.
You might just spot someone in the distance stood near a memorial to Sergeant Steven Roberts of the Second Royal Tank Regiment who was killed in action near Basrah Iraq and who lived not to far from here. A beautiful spot but with a sad story to tell.
I think the cottages belong to the National Trust and are now used as holiday lets.
Thanks for looking and have a great week

I can just make out the person stood on the headland, what a beautiful place for a memorial, and what a community spirit it must be in the village. Wonderful cottages also, I don't know what it's like to the left of the shot but it looks like they have their own little cove to themselves. A charming place to spend a couple of weeks holiday's in, a very peaceful setting. Superb capture, and interesting narrative. Bravo!!!!!
