Description

Macaws need minerals to digest the food they eat in the jungle so every morning they come to a specific, (fairly) dried up oxbow lake which has the right sort of clay and eat it... some of you might have seen it on the Planet Earth series (i'm fairly sure it was on there)... this is basically the same place. Yup - me = lucky git... would have loved to have a bit more reach than 200mm on a 1.6x crop, but you cant have everything. Tomorrow... in flight :P Enjoy! Rich

I'm about a week behind, so let me just say that I looked through your gallery and love this series! Top notch work and the beach scenes are stunning! This here is verrrry cool.... I do remember seeing this on TV ... how lucky you were to see this in person!
