Description
Henk mentioned wooden shoes in a comment about one of my tulip pictures, so I had to post this bit of silliness for him.
But it does show spring in Oregon. Notice that Deb is sheltering her camera under her coat. It's sunny here and pouring rain 200 meters away. The ten minutes later it's sunny again.

Hi Dennis what a surprize!! These are indeed real Dutch wooden-shoes (Klompen) the regular size is still used by a very few people in our village .......... milking a cow with your hands and not having put on klompen, you can be seriously heart by the paw of the cow, if you put some news papers inside, you keep very warm feeds ......... even during the real winters we had in the past before global warming ... klompen are quite useful foodware!!! but not realy fashion any more!! Thanks very, very much for dedicating this "klompen"- photo to me!! Have a very nice weekend With los of sunshine Henk P.S. very nice tulips in the background!!
