Description

I am trying to create a snow melt effect to use on another landscape. Any additional ideas how to do this effect are welcomed.

Interesting concept and attempt. The only thing I could think of is to make the snow dirtier on top than on the melting sides, as dirt and dust condense the more snow melts. The sides wash away dirt more so they would be cleaner. Think of a form of altitude based texture that has a gritty brown/gray top. That's my best suggestion.
