Description
I read once that the Praying Mantis is prized in the Orient as a pet. They are chained to a shelf or a window sill by a gold chain hardly thicker than a human hair, and given a small dish of water. They keep the home free of flies and other insects. I was intrigued by the mental image, so I decided to do a picture.
Stephanie with ByteMeOK's "Bliss" texture (Market Place), Japanese props from the Japanese Room at Daz, BryceTech's Praying Mantis and Fly (Market Place), Ajax's Easy Pose Chains (Market Place), and last but not least, the incredible WONDER VASE from Ooh Betty (Market Place)was used for both the floor vase and the Mantis' water dish (bet you never thought your Wonder Vase would be used as a water dish for a Praying Mantis, huh, Missy?) :-)

"Who gives intuition and instinct?" (Job 38:36) Neat image Sybil! We should do that here in Illinois in the summer!
