Description
~Tyr

The original Germanic god of war and the patron god of justice, the precursor of Odin. At the time of the Vikings, Tyr had to make way for Odin, who became the god of war himself. Tyr was by then regarded as Odin's son (or possibly of the giant Hymir). He is the boldest of the gods, who inspires courage and heroism in battle. Tyr is represented as a man with one hand, because his right hand was bitten off by the gigantic wolf Fenrir (in old-Norse, the wrist was called 'wolf-joint'). His attribute is a spear; the symbol of justice, as well as a weapon.
At the day of Ragnarok, Tyr will kill the hound Garm, the guardian of the hell, but will die from the wounds inflicted by the animal. In later mythology, "Tyr" became to mean "god". He is also known as Tîwaz, Tiw and Ziu.~

been a while hasn't it. thanks for all your c&c's as always, from the heart :).
i've been pretty busy the last few weeks trying out about 4 gb's of content,taking pictures.painting, catcching up on wwe wrestling ,movies etc. and just all around chillin out.i've got about a dozen or so image projects on my plate at the moment too. plus writing the next story for infinite eye. i'm hoping ,if everything i want to create works well, they'll be totally different than what i've done till now visually.
anyhoo, here is my take on the norse god tyr, god of single battle.in my infinite eye continuity he's also a powerful mage as well.

WHOA! Phenomenal! There's perks to falling behind with viewing your work, I get the chance to get back here and every image grabs me and I respond the same way with: .. WHOA! AWESOME! I can't imagine how you'd improve on this image, even the minimal background seems to be perfect! He looks just as I would imagine a Viking God to look! Handsome, built to perfection, powerful, and athletic, not to speak of whatever god-like he may have!
