Description

Well, not quite an outback watering hole--it's actually a puddle of water on a dirt road behind where I work. A flock of about 60 galahs arrives a couple of times a day to feed on the grass seeds on the playing fields just behind the house where I work and you can get reasonably close to them. I'm trying to gets shots of them in flight with very mixed results--it's much easier when they stay still !!!

Very nice. Are these a type of small parrot or are they related more to the budgie? Good luck on getting them on the wing.
