My name is Tony Shaw and I have been working for a UK Bank since I left school in 1983. I have spent from 1990 working in their IT department as a software developer. With the threat of redundancy hanging over me next year, and having written a web-site for my Dad, I decided to train myself up in web and graphic design and as a result found Renderosity.
The graphic tools I'm using in my spare time are Adobe Photoshop, Bryce, Apophysis, Terragen and Vue ... I don't have any particular favourite as they all have their good and bad points.
I have not posted some of my very early works as they are quite basic and would not look out of place in comics, however I hope you will take time to browse through my gallery so far and any comments, whether good or bad will be greatly received as they will keep me motivated and hopefully improve my designs.
Happy rendering.

Yes, Tony, looks like you really do remember how to use Bryce...lol. Interesting POV and design on the tower turrets. Like the addition of the dragons...the keepers of the prisoners. Cool banking effect, as well.

Great idea... the turretesque prison. Nice touch importing the dragon. The prisoners with be less likely to want to escape. Wonderful image with nice composition and palette. Sometimes a change is a good as a rest. That's why I change programs all the time.

Tone, You have such a wonderful grasp of Bryce! You excel at using primitives as well. I especially like the dragons. It adds a sense of danger to the image! Amazing! Lea

Knowing you would be a snack for a dragon would surely keep each prisoner safely in his turret! Awesome work on this, sure doesn't look like you've forgotten to manipulate Bryce to the best!
