Description

Finally found some time to post again after another long work related absence! So whilst catching up on many postponed projects, here's one to be going on with. A bit of a change from usual..... Still working on getting back to all the wonderful comments on my last image. Many thanks. Comments welcome as always. Things like motion blur, HDRI lighting, DOF, complex texture mapping and Ambient occlusion are some of the advanced processes that make CGI look almost like an actual photograph. Many of those techniques are used here. The mark of distinction for a very well done scene.

Nice use of the sunlight here and the subtle shadow of the fighter carrier in the background. A classic air flight scene.

Great to see you exploring new avenues Dean, nicely done. My only suggestion would be to try and make the water a little more reflective. Whether its my eyes or not that is the problem, lol, but a better water surface would really add to the lighting and an otherwise great scene. I will be in touch soon anyway with the next chapters and also an updated image of Lizan. Talk to you soon, Steve.
