When I was a child, we used to cut shapes like this out of stiff card and stack them up, this reminded me of those art calsses, thanks for that :)....This is a wonderful fractal tres, it seems to have that stacked look...Very nice!

The texturing really brings a lot of life to this image in monochrome. I think this was a great choice for coloring it adds crispness to it. A wonderful image.
