The artist is not a person endowed with free will who seeks his own ends, but one who allows art to realize its purposes through him. As a human being he may have moods and a will and personal aims, but as an artist he is 'man' in a higher sense - he is 'collective man,' a vehicle and molder of the unconscious psychic life of mankind. (Carl Jung, Psychology and Literature, 1930)

WhopperNnoonWalker-
very cool render

This one seems more of an outsider's look than the original one. An addition rather than a replacement. To prefer either one I'd have to know what you intend to express - and I'm puzzled at both. But others seem to understand.

Cool scene, render and POV, well done..

Seems to me that this one is not so much contemplation of the original figure but of the additional figure as to what to do with the original figure. I do like this one better because it sheds light a little more on what you are trying to state with the scene. Nice POV from the outside looking in.

I like the pov on this one better.

This certainly has impact. I like both scenes. They are different. This one perhaps not so poignant as the other. There was so much sadness in the other one. This one makes me think that the figure on the left is humbled by the figure on the right. Either way they are both great images.

Creative POV and great atmospherics. The posing really serves to imply a rich sense of story.

for me at least this one is a totaly different pic (even tho they share most of the elements of each other) this one shows homage to a queen? (lover ?) guess that dont matter lol I like the first one more but they are both excellent renders well done

I really like the perspective in this, nice composition as well. I like both versions of this piece, both have great unique povs giving them both a completely different feel from each other. I like them both equaly for different reasons, and I like the both because they're also very well done ;)

I really like this image. The eye is drawn to the center and it took a moment to see the girl.

Really like how you combined two of the Aery Soul prisons together in this, the atmosphere is thick enough to cut, too. Very nicely done.
