My name is Marnie, and I am currently in the USArmy stationed at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. I work nights at the hospital and bring my laptop to work on fractals in my downtime. I guess that's why I got back into them. Something to do but be able to walk away from if need be.
I just loaded my first image not very long ago, and I am very pleased with this community. Everyone is so polite and postive. Makes one want to go and create more just to be able to share. This is the most fun I have had in awhile.
I want to thank Ronnie Jay for making my banner for me. You all probably know him better as FracJay, and he is my favorite fracattack buddy!! Luv ya, Ronnie!
I hope you enjoy my gallery!!ÂÂ

This is a wonderful fractal, hon, and I'm so sorry to hear about all that happening to you! Yes, the world IS like that sigh. You need to see if you can also get an alarm system put on/in your vehicle, and have it be the kind that goes off if anyone gets too near it, or touches it. I know there are some of those kinds out there--you need to do what you can to try and make sure no one goes back and does this kind of thing to your vehicle again! (they might try again, you know) It's a pain in the butt, but it might save you a lot more trouble and money in the end....just a thought. Many hugs to you.... hugs

Get a small battalion to wait for em and give them the jitters, that'll stop any more of this behaviour :)..seriously tho' you state you do not know what this world Is coming too, I would concur with that, as it sometimes leaves me completely dumfounded at what is going on?...Nutty weather all over the globe, wars, conflicts etc..Oh well, at least your fractal is something amazing, in a crazy F'd up world...Nice one sis!

Another beautiful fractal, Marnie. Sorry to hear your vehicle got sabotaged. My Wednesday evening wasn't so good either as a huge deer jumped into the roadway and smashed up the entire front end of my vehicle when we both collided. Luckily, tho, everything is covered by insurance as it is something you have no control over happening. But, what an experience.

That is way too sad! What a shame the parents aren't making sure their kids are busily doing something constructive instead of destructive. Your are work is deep, dark and gorgeous. May the rest of your week be much better than today. Bunny

love it!!stunning design. so sorry about your problem. some teenagers locally set probably more than 20 cars on fire just for the heck of it. most of the people live in a poor area and probably nothing more than liability insurance

This is a totally awesome piece. To me it has a mechanical feel to it. No pun intended. I really like this rough and sharp design. Excellent work!!!!

Sorry for all the trouble you have had, it is the same here, I couldn't leave my car out in my drive because it kept getting vandalised, and I live in a sleepy village and supposedly in a nice area, here in the UK. So now it takes up half of my small garden, so now I cannot plant as my flowers that I really enjoy. I cannot get out much and my garden means such a lot to me. I don't know where the world is going either. After all that you still manage to create a beautiful fractal, with great depth and texture, very well done! hugs Jane xx

I had been reading about people stealing the catalytic converters off cars. I'm so sorry this has happened to you. We had three vehicles vandalized 4 X in our driveway and I've had 2 stolen. We have since moved to a gated community with a 3 car garage. You still can't leave your vehicle out at night in this neighborhood either. Our next door neighbor had all the wheels stolen off his car in his driveway one night a couple months ago. It is a sad situation and only getting worse. Anyway, I love your fractal though. I really love the colors and the sharp details. Nice job!

I'm glad my small car is low to the ground. Hopefully that will keep the thieves away. Beautiful image.
