Description

This is perhaps my favorite photo. I took it a few years ago in the Fall at Mount Leconte in Tennessee, USA. I left the camera open for 10 hours and when I went to retrieve it the lens was completely covered with dew. To my surprise the image came out despite the early morning moisture. Hope you like it as much as I do. Thanks for visiting and for comments.

Wonderful shot. I love how well it shows the different star colors. You must have a rock-solid tripod.

OMG - What a stunning capture. I tried it once and but the wind came up very strongly during the night and moved the camera. Well done!!! I'm jealous. :) xx

Absolutely wonderful! I have so much wanted to do something like this, but the lights in the city just do not allow it. Well done on using the trees for the star trails to move behind. Stunning, and I too am envious!
