An intriguing shot, my friend, presumably from the top of the mound, possibly of the old motte and bailey construction. I like the impression of the castle's strategic viewpoint over otherwise relatively flat land. The 'rustic' wooden fence wending its way to the left is a nice attention puller, too, down to the old ditch, no doubt. Thanks for sharing this shot. It looks like a winter afternoon shot, but the vegetation suggests early Spring ( ours hasn't arrived yet up in Glasgow ). Thanks for sharing this photo, and welcome to posting on Renderosity.
