really nice. getting psychological subtlety out of a render is pretty darn hard, but you've done a great job here. The light, the composition all set a mood. the thing that's tough for me, always, is finding something natural for characters to do with their hands, which is true here too.

A wonderful and powerful scene. I sense a sadness about him and his hands appear arthritic to me and those hands do not ever have a natural appearance. The single plate on the opposite side of the table seems symbolic as well. The lighting and composition of the scene are just excellent. Really fine and sensitive work.
