This is posted as reference for any artist that is interested in Mayan & Aztec art.
It is a scan image taken from an Aztec codices (book of pictures similar to the Egyptian scrolls).
The following site has an EXTENSIVE collection of Mayan & Aztec artwork. The drawings & photos are large and the site is slow, but if you have patience it is worth it. The site belongs to The Federation for the advancement of Mesoamerican Studies Inc.
