Description

morning all :o) nothing special today just a shot from ropner park the other day .everything is so neat and tidy which is a wonder in this day and age .we have vandals and idiots like everywhere else but for some reason or other the park is left alone .this is more reminicent of my childhood when it was safe for kids to play in the park and get fresh air and run about without any trouble .dog owners pick up after their dogs no litter everyone just takes a pride in this park so maybe all is not quite lost just yet :o) thanks for looking and take care mick

This must be springtime for you. Beautiful flowers everywhere and it does look well kept. You created a very nice perspective with this road disappearing in the distance. Great photograph! Aleks

That is so good to hear, Mick! Isn't it interesting how public park formal beds have hardly changed since Victorian times! I love it, it gives us some connection with our great grandparents somehow. Thankyou for the pic, it's really cheered me up this morning!

What a lovely well kept park, and nice to see there are some places the young rascals won't bother. You are right, it was a simpler and safer world back when. Nice shot and sentiment, Mick!

Just the sort of place to stroll, sit, and enjoy this peaceful scene; and yes, lovely that the vandals can leave it be!!

I have to agree with everything that has been said Mick, a blessing thet the vandals leave it alone, our local park is taken over by glue sniffers at night. A waste of time visiting it after six o'clock, police are scarce so they just carry on sniffing. Excellent pov and capture Mick, whats in the name, Ropner Park? is it named after someone? Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
