Description
Puppet on a bench in Rome,Pinocchio…carved from a piece of pine by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a small Italian village, he was created as a wooden puppet, but dreamt of becoming a real boy…

These last two weeks I got less comments on my uploads (difficult to reach 25/1 page... this is probably also because I have very little time to comment myself !)... but I’m very happy because I receive less superlative comments from the hugs club and more interesting opinions.

This appears to be life size, which must be marvellous! This figure is much better looking than some of the cartoons of the puppet. I hope it's nailed down, it would vanish overnight in my town!

I never know whether or not to comment since I'm not an artist, per se. So forgive me if I offend or don't know whereof I speak, please. Simply wish there was more going on with light, shadow or angle. But I do love how he's sitting there... waiting. And he is an awesome work in and of himself.

Michel, it's like from my childhood. Children in Russia love this rebelling character a lot. Here he's called Buratino as well, never Pinocchio. Thank you for the reminder and such a wonderful portrait. nikolay

héhé sujet marrant ! As tu tourné un peu autour ? essayer de trouver un autre angle peut être plus insolite, ou pour révéler le mystère de sa venue à la vie ? Là, c'est un peu photo souvenir, je suis certain que tu peux nous le montrer sous ton angle très perso.
