maybe light at the end of the tunnel...not sure yet! However i hope you like this image, I really tried to work on the lighting and shadows in this picture. I like the transition from colour to monochrome....not sure how I achieved it though!
Used Dreamlight's studo lights for the lighting, gimp and cs2 for postwork. thanks for looking and commenting!

First rate! Original and evocative. Maybe a shade too foggy down low, but that's a quibble. Great textures, great feeling. Reminds me a little of Enki Bilal, or the writing of China Mieville. Really, really sharp-- you do a fantastic job conveying a sense of materials.
