...I kid you not , Jill --- just as I just clicked on your fine painting -- on my computer pops a Donovan song ( Sunshine Superman )....not quite the same song as seems to have inspired this work --- ( but you can't have everything ) --- there's a lot going on here to digest in a few looks ---- it evokes many thoughts and feelings ---- Japanese waves --- earth -water - space - movement ....lots to take in upon first glance...... but it's quite loose and wonderful ...... a keeper for sure.....not sure how you get such impasto brush strokes with 2D software ... love to see what you will produce with 'real' wet gooey paint and canvas .

Oh Jilly! I come and go from here so much these days..only staying, in small time increments, a random comment here and there mostly in fractals. And, not ONCE, for a very, very long while, have I received any notis in my email that you've posted in forever. Oddly, not the first person this has happened with either. :( I suppose I just assumed that you were as away from this place these days, as I've been. So, I was rocked when I finally had the stamina and time to check up on your gallery. You have my deepest apologies, dear lady. This..a lovely Van-Gogh-esque treasure..and one, I'm sure, that Bunny will treasure..both for its beauty, and YOURS. Huge hugs to you. (and now going to remove you from favs, then re-add..to see if that's a fix).
