Description
A study in classic picture construction. The arched and domed recces's and chair giving the classic triangle form. The green vegetation giving the otherwise drab painting life. The small plant pots containing herbs lends a little everyday feel and the large amphora telling you that this is a scene from around Coroni in the Peloponnese. These pots are still made by traditional methods in Coroni.
