OK, have had this pic in the works for a couple weeks. its my first hand trying out flames, which i photoshopped. no other postwork was involved. can't remember how long it took to render. Please leave feedback, negative or positive. Cheers ps. and yes i know, xerr again! what can i say, i love using him. :D

Nice looking render. Your flames came out pretty well. Since you asked, I have some suggestions for you... The scene is pretty dark, and that's okay since it's night time, but the flames would cast some light all around. You may want to try putting a light source in your render where your flames would be painted in. That would also cast light on the other objects in the area. Not bad at all. Keep up the good work.

like the concept, the landscape looks to fake for the scene, and with the fire she is right, you could try using a pointlight inside the dragons mouth and set it to about 200% intensity with deep shadow map or ray traced, this would achieve the needed light from the flames, it also might help the landscape out as well
