WOW! Stark and beautiful! Interesting architecture, wonderful sense of color as well, even though everything is muted. I love the old fashioned antenna! It's been a while since I've seen THOSE. There's a certain 20th Century charm to those, despite the overt futurism of satellite dishes now! Great capture, and a wonderful glimpse into lives (though unseen) that can only be imagined.

Blimey the old H tv antenna 625 line, a lot of people used them for FM radio reception as well. When I saw the thumbnail I thought it could be a radio hams antenna farm. Excellent capture, a reminder of how far we have advanced, in the last few years it has been at the rate of an express train. Bravo!!!!!

When I saw this it made me laugh, reminded me of all the knitting of wires we get in our houses over time, until someone buys a cable tidy! It is a beautifully balanced image.

The mechanism of communication is not exactly pretty, but who can do without it?

Kewl! My gran had antennas just like those on the house and in the yard! I remember as a child having to go outside and turn the ones in the yard to get reception in:-) Now instead of antennas like this we have a ton of dish satellites on the houses...progress...I guess:-) Wonderful as always!

I find 2 good reasons to appreciate this photo: - the first one is the composition... -the second and MORE important reason is that this image brings and illustrate this question: do our techonological means of communication reflect our current ability to communicate? aren't we having some kind of sociologic schizophrenic regression as if the more we build means to communicate, the less we tend to ACTUALLY communicate? The monochromantic top of the image, wich you made the two thirds of it, brings me that in mind... An excellent composition and capture !
