Description

This is a rework of an old piece I did before I knew much about 3D. I thought I'd see if I could improve by tweaking the dragon and adding lighting. Since I couldn't get the mirror reflection the way I wanted that was done in PS. Kinda of cheating, but I'm still learning. :) Thanks for the kind comments on my previous uploads.

Gorgeous you can try and put a primitive on the surface of the mirror, in black or light grey color and then it will reflect :) I have instructions if you like on how to make reflections it quite easy once you get the hang of it :) Send me an ebot if you would like them :) Angela

Excellent work. Great expression on the dragon and very nice lighting. By the way, don't ever regard postwork as cheating - postwork is art. That's what we're doing here... art. In fact, it has allowed the use of 'artist license' here to create a better image than a purely technical exercise would have given. Nice.

Post work isn't cheating, it's a natural part of the 3d work flow. Love the image, and nice use of symmetry.

You love Monitors, I love Dragons, this must be a young one has he only has a shortish neck, when he gets a bit older I'm sure he will grow somewhat. Lol. Excellent render, I have to agree postwork is to fine polish your work and is sometimes a lot harder than the render itself. I can do neither but I can appreciate how difficult it must be at times. I should take up 3Dillusions kind offer if I was you, they are a pretty kind bunch on RR, or so I have found them. A bit like family really, sometimes more helpfull than family.lol. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
