Paronella Park...One Man's Dream Photo on the left is a picture of Jose' and his 2 daughters standing outside the Grand Ballroom as it was back in the 1930's....I take no credit for this old photo (photographer unknown), photo on the right is by me taken March '08. I had a read about this facinating place on the web site I posted yesterday, very interesting reading it made as well, I will be returning becase I didn't finish it all at one sitting. I would have loved to have seen it just after constrution, when everything was fresh and 'Just so'. If it was in England I would be planning a visit. Fantastic finding the old picture for a comparison Sue. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

I can't find it sad...it has endured and found its own place with a good balance in nature and in civilization. I love what it has become - it keeps you dreaming to see it. Fabulous capture and good comparison shot.

Oh I'll bet this was a magnificent building when it was brand new. Even in the old photo it looks awesome, though I think it's been around some already. Still, the current photo looks lovely too, in a mystical, magical, mysterious kind of way. It looks as though Mother Nature has been very busy, getting her decorating work done in time for the photo shoot!
