Description

Hello, You, people, are asking why I sometimes use the landscape mode instead of portrait and why the people faces are not always fully captured. As a matter of fact I'm currently working on taking quick candid pictures of people in the street. The landscape mode is used to create a composition instead of just taking a portrait. Because this picture should be strong by itself (maybe telling you some stories), I can't take portrait in the usual way. When the hair cut has nothing special, it can be cut to put the focus on something else than just the face. This series is just an exercice my teacher asked me for. 2 months ago, I took some common portrait pictures of people modeling (posing) for me and these series has been posted. Now, it's something else ;o))) Thank you for asking and for your frequent comments. Take care and have a nice weekend, Geoffroy

First off thanks for the explanation, I appreciate it. Those you took at the car show were not common, they were very good. Another excellent shot, the beauty of candid is the different expressions that you get, they speak volumes when they are not posed. This young lady walking with head bowed and a phone in her hand looks kind of melancholy, as though she has had sad news? Excellent capture, I think your teacher will be happy with your work. Bravo!!!!!
