Description

Thanks for kind comments on my gosling picture yesterday " I can Stand on one Leg ". While shooting the gosling images, this Drake swam in front of my 400mm lens so I fired a couple off. I know there are everywhere but the drops of water on his feathers made it more interesting.

Yep the mallard is everywhere as you say, but to capture this expressive image of the droplets is a rare thing, I like this capture the soft lighting is particularly nice, as is the great DOF, nice one my friend!

Sometimes an everyday subject can make for a great pic and you've done that well--the water and lighting make this shot very very good indeed

Well captured, my friend. As for mallards. I don't think that there is a single one, that I've seen, in all the public parks in Glasgow. Plenty of swans and their arch enemies, the magpies. Regards,John.
