Description


On the way up the canyon in Utah I noticed how part of the tree line had remained in shadow most of the day. It was very neat to see how the trees in the portion that was still shaded still had snow on them. However, just outside that shodow zone, the snow had melted from the trees, leaving them bare.

Thanks. Yes, this was taken from the SUV as wll. A lot of these photos were taken from the window as we drove past. At 10 degrees(F), it's no wonder I had a runny nose the next day! LOL! My friend at least drove slow when I started taking shots.
