To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

"I get out my work and have a show for myself before I have it publicly.
I make up my own mind about how good or bad or indifferent it is.
After that the critics can write what they please.
I have already settled it for myself so flattery
and criticism go down the same drain and I am quite free.
~Georgia O'Keeffe

This seems so sad...as though she's caged in. Excellent conveyance of mood. PS-I sold a printout of Danver's Crossing - 14 Miles at an art show. I was surprised they let me hang it in the first place :)

Very cool, Mina!

Oh this is.. disturbing somehow, but very very intense. Catches the eyes, makes me wonder. Art? I don't know, art is in the eyes of the beholder, I think. This is art to me :)

I am so glad times are changing in this regard. I will also fledge my wings in this art form. Beautiful way of repeating the object to emphasize it.

I think it's cool. Look a bit like chicken coop with rustic glass. The 3 mirroring faces looks great and give it some depth i think. Great artwork.

Wonderful image reminiscent of 60's art...

A wonderfully cinematic, Warhol-like image, with a terrific sense of texture and hall-of-mirrors. I've wanted to comment on this since you posted it; it says a lot about your visual sense. You weave everything into a pulsing, vibrant unit. You show real mastery of space. And, with your p.o.v. almost cinematic, you make this woman look majestic & towering. I think this is masterful. You're a powerful artist, Mina. You build castles out of simple digital spaces... (and yes, digital is equal to analog. It will just take time for it to catch on...)
