Description


G'day. One of my first ever lightning shots, taken at Bung Bong Hill at Avoca in Victoria, Australia. It was approx a 47 second exposure shot taken on a tripod. It is just pot luck where the ligtning lands in the picture and this one was a whopper. Maybe a little too close for comfort (i was safely sitting under a carport).I got it published on the front page of the local newspaper. Enjoy Louise See more at www.louisewolfers.com

That light reflecting off the bottom of the storm clouds is outstanding. The bolt of lightening is exciting and congratulations on capturing that one great image in that one tiny part of a second.

Awesome. The only way I got lighting was freeze framing out of a 30 second video capture. That's an amazing capture though!

Fantastic photo! I was confused when I saw the thumbnail, as we have an Avoca locally here in NSW, and they don't look at all alike! Incredible drama, well done!
