Description
Three days to go [before two online smitten people meet]
So very soon,
You'll be in my arms,
Beneath the glowing moon,
Away from all world's harms.
Just three short days,
Until I know your scent,
I'll learn more of your ways,
Find out what it all meant.
We've had a lovely cerebral thing,
I've wanted all that you are,
To discover what your touch will bring
So close, from whence so far.
I wish to know the sound,
Of your whisper in my ear,
To feel your arms around
Me, sweeping away my fear.
I'll know first hand your face,
The softness you hold there,
To have you in this space,
All feelings laid out bare.
Knowing details of your hands,
The length of your fingers,
Which travelled different lands,
On these things, I shall linger.
Anticipation: my companion in waiting,
Thrills through my every cell,
Our first kiss, emancipating,
On this I plan to dwell.
And leading up to moments such,
I hope you feel the same,
Wish that you dream my touch,
That my heart you want to tame.

This is well written - beautifully done! You have clearly portrayed the excitement and passion you feel for your upcoming meeting. As for the content, I congratulate you on having the courage to go for what you want, and wish you all the best!

This brings back memories for me, I met my fiancé online over 4 years ago, and we are getting married next week. :)

For the record, this story is now past-tense, and while the time together was wonderful, it also highlighted a deal-breaker (Very Big Bummer, that was).
Anyway, for the curious at heart, the most memorable moment for me was the first hug when we first "met".
Thanks for the lovely comments! :D

Great writing. Things happen for a reason. Perhaps it's best the outcome was the way it was.

we are what we come away with what is left watching the snow fall inside the liquid ball after the shaking there sitting at the table...
