There's pretty much only one thing that could happen given the alien's closeness, weight, and momentum. She's a goner. Even if she were to turn around on time there wouldn't be too much she could do except yell "DOH!" She might have had a chance if she didn't give the classic "All Clear" sign. Those fateful words sealed her doom. Great pic :)
